The Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary will begin its annual door-to-door Portrait Project fundraiser on April 28, 2025.
Joe Root, an employee of Volunteer Fund Raising Dimensions, under contract to the Auxiliary, will be knocking doors in our first due area asking for donations in return for a “free” 10 X 13 Family Portrait, to be redeemed in October 2025. Mr. Root has a Squad issued identification badge with his full name on it along with a signed letter he carries on a clipboard. He drives a 2008 Blue Subaru Outback with North Carolina tags.
The door-to-door solicitation will continue until the portrait date in October.
